1. Use good BODY Language!
Be aware of what you do with your hands when making presentations, deliveries, 30 second commercials...
Are you pushing people away with movements that "push away" like a stop sign? Use movements that pull people inward towards you!
When you place your hands in front of you to indicate a "measurement" of some kind, how far apart are they? ie. Does it look like you could hold a baseball between your hands or a basketball? How about an exercise ball?! The bigger the space between your hands indicates the bigger your capacity is to receive!
2. Use good EYE CONTACT.
Do you go "inside" your prospects head and heart? Or are you distracted by what that prospect can do for your business/bank account? Are you caught up thinking about what your sales pitch is or how you are coming across or what they are thinking about you?
Show that person in front of you that you "see" them...CONNECT!
3. Make your hand shake UNITE!
Do you try to "top" them by turning your grip so YOUR hand is on top? Are you trying to dominate?
Grasp your prospect's hand and connect your palms and hold your grip so that both hands are vertical, side by side.
4. CONNECT with your prospect's Experiences
Find a common ground in their "story"...something you can relate too and use to make a point that leads into what you can do for them in your area of expertise.
5. Get CLEAR!
Be FREE from all emotions that bring negative feelings and actions. Let go of past hurts, anger and resentments. Go out and SERVE! Giving and loving attracts!
